And the Hosts of the 2010 Oscars are... Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin

November 6, 2009

Sorry girls, next year Hugh Jackman won't be hosting the Oscars, but no need to be sad (you can be just a little sad), because Steve Martin will partner with Alec Baldwin to co-host the 82nd Academy Awards ceremony. The “perfect pair of hosts”, as producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman named them, is hoped to make the Oscars night more entertaining and to revive ratings.

If for Alec Baldwin this is a new challenge, Martin has already won an Emmy nomination for his performance at the 73rd Oscars ceremony. So, with a little luck and well written lines, this pair could really hit it big.
