Paranormal Activity makes $100 million!

November 14, 2009

It may be paranormal, but the low budget movie has obtained revenues which surpass $100 million at the U.S. box office, and if we take into consideration the initial budget: almost $15,000, we may even say that “Paranormal Activity” is the most successful movie of the year. Surprised? I know I am!

It seems that the thriller genre has just suffered a shift in approach, and I bet that many are going to follow it, in their search for success. Already “Paranormal Activity 2” is in development and is expected in theaters in 2012.

So, we all just have to wait and see what the next Halloween will bring!
