“New Moon” sets a new record!

November 19, 2009

There is only one day left until the big premier of the Twilight sequel - “New Moon”, and we took a moment to look at the numbers.

The newest Edward Cullen movie has succeeded to set a new ticket sales record to the detriment of “Harry Potter”, “Dark Night” and most of all, “Star Wars” (sorry Darth Vader fans). According to Fandango, AMC and MovieTickets.com , “New Moon” is the movie which sold most tickets prior to its release, and this means over 2000 sold out screenings. Not bad, not bad indeed!

I went to see this movie on opening day and I would definetley recomend it. All the suspense and some of it is so sad but it is something I would definetley see again and own it.
