Brittany Murphy passed away

Hollywood and all movie fans all over the world got another hit this Sunday, as official news spread across the media stating that young Brittany Murphy passed away.

The actress was 32 years old, and was famous for performances in movies like Clueless, 8 Mile and Riding in Cars with Boys. Official statements say that Brittany died due to a cardiac arrest, and was found unconscious by her mother Sunday morning, who called the paramedics. She was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Brittany Murphy had a diverse filmography, playing light comedy roles like that in “Little Black Book” to dramatic ones like “Sin City” or “Girl, Interrupted”. Film critics praised her talent for effortless humor and natural appearance in movies like Little Black Book, although no major roles went her way.

She became famous once she played alongside Alicia Silverstone in the 1995 comedy hit movie , Clueless. Then followed a series of different roles, among which she played Luanne in King of the Hill, winning an Annie Award for Voice Acting. 2006 followed with bigger roles as in The Dead Girl, and Happy Feet where she had another voice acting role.

Brittany Murphy was married since 2007 with screenwriter Simon Monjack.

I don't know her, don't believe I've seen her anything; but that doesn't really matter. So young, such a shame.
