James Cameron prepares an Avatar Prequel

February 20, 2010

It seems that the Avatar mania is conquering new grounds, outside the cinema halls. James Cameron is planning to write a prequel of its latest movie, which will not benefit from a cinema adaptation.

The novel wants to fill in some gaps left by the movie and also to satisfy the fans’ veracious appetite. Although, Cameron has some writing experience of its own, having written the screenplays for the first two “Terminator” movies and for “Titanic”, this will be his first novel.

The prequel is hoped to be released by the end of this year, and if we take into account how much money “Avatar” has generated, chances are that Cameron’s novel will be even more successful than “Harry Potter”.
