The Police Academy is back to fight the crime and make us giggle!

 It seems that the oldies are truly goldies, many major American film studios preferring to revive old cinema successes, such as “The Smurfs, Indiana Jones and many others, than invest in high budget 3D movies. So, according to the New Line Cinema and Warner Bros studios a new Police Academy installment, the eight of its kind, will be hitting the theaters pretty soon. Paul Maslansky, the original “Police Academy” producer, will be also supervising this new installment.
For the youngest of you, the Police Academy movie is a police-based comedy which saw daylight back in 1984, and due to its initial success was followed by six other sequels: Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment, Police Academy 3: Back in Training, Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach, Police Academy 6: City Under Siege, Police Academy: Mission to Moscow.
The information on the release date and on the plot is kind of scarce at this point, but we'll get back to you as soon as we hear something...anything!
