Is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson going to be "Fast and Furious"?

July 15, 2010

Apparently, "Fast and Furious Five" (also known as "Fast Five") is going to have even more muscles than before according to Tyrese Gibson who has posted on his Twitter account that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is joining the cast: "Major shouts to Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, & Dewayne [sic] "Rock" Johnson!! "Fast & Furious Five" Let’s get em again!!". Gibson has also been posting some pictures from the shootings that take place in Puerto Rico, so we have nothing else to do but to believe him.

Rumors that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is going to join Vin Diesel and Paul Walker on the sets of the fifth installment of the franchise "Fast and Furious" have been floating around for a while, but without any official statement. Besides this rumor, the word on the streets is that "The Rock" is going to play a lawman who is going after Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker), as they are once again fugitives from the law. So, it's seems we are going to enjoy some amazing chasing.

Until other news on the cast, we can tell you that the new installment is due to hit the big screen on June 10, 2011. Stay tuned on TuvaBox for more news!
