Captain Jack Sparrow presents "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides"

July 26, 2010

Last week, at Comic Con, the first official teaser video for the fourth installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series: "On Strange Tides" was introduced to the entire world. This new teaser video contains no footage of the new installment, but it does have Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow staying at a table, accompanied by a bottle of rum (of course :) ), and talking about the plot and his upcoming adventures.

...And the plot sounds something like this: Cap. Jack Sparrow meets a beautiful woman from his past (character played by Penelope Cruz) and he is not sure if it's love or if she is following him to find the lost “Fountain of Youth”. At a certain point things clear up, as she obliges him abroad The Queen Anne's Revenge, the boat of the cruel Blackbeard. As you can figure out, from this point on Jack embarks on a brand new journey and according to him there will be "very insubstantial dangers, including but not limited to zombies, cut-throats, mermaids, and a vicious and vivacious Penelope Cruz". On top of all these, this new installment is going to be filmed in 3D!

The "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is due to hit the big screen in may 2011, and until then all you have is this teaser which you can enjoy below. And of course, for the new trailers stay tuned on TuvaBox!
