Gadgets to give, Gadgets to receive

7. Kindle DX
This year forget about the classical paper book, and read love poems on an e-reader. With a 9.7 inch display, an improved resolution (1200 x 824) and 4GB of memory, Kindle DX is the perfect gadget for doing this.
The latest Kindle model, DX, is the first to have an accelerometer, built-in stereo speakers and support for PDF files, while the lithium polymer battery lasts up to two weeks, if the Kindle is used offline, and one week using wireless.
In terms of connectivity it benefits from an USB 2.0 port and an EVDO wireless modem, and as an input it has a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack and an AC power adapter, but it doesn't benefit from an SD slot.
The $489 price can be a little expensive, but the gratitude of the loved one is going to last a long, long time.
