Tim Burton is famous for movie creations such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or Planet of the Apes. This new adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, will be re-made under the spell of Burton and with the help of Johnny Depp's charm.
The story is quite different from the whimsical original version, in which Alice visits for the first time Wonderland as a kid. This time, she is a grown-up teenager returning to visit her friends... like Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. Anne Hathaway also plays in the movie as the White Queen, as well as Christopher Lee, Michael Sheen and others. Mia Wasikowska , an Australian actress, plays the young adult Alice through her adventure in this dark and flamboyant Wonderland created by Burton's imagination.
