Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (19 November, 2010)

Director: David Yates
Cast: Emma Watson, Daniell Radcliffe, Helena Bonham-Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Rupert Grint
Genre: Fantasy, Adventure

Of course such a legend as Harry Potter couldn't have gone down in history with just a single movie. This highly successful series have been prolonged by producers at Warner Bros. in two parts for the last movie, with director David Yates managing the departure.

Following the novel of the Half-Blood Prince, The Deathly Hollows tales the story of Harry Potter and his friends as they drop out of Hogwarts school, and go in the real world in search of the Horcruxes, the spelled items that are able to restore evil Voldemort back to life. Harry must recover along the way after Dumbledore is killed by Severus Snape, and Ron and Hermione are, of course, by his side.

As this is the last movie in our top, here at Tuvabox, we're betting that 2010 will be a showdown between the Twilight and Harry Potter franchises. But as Harry Potter is coming to an end, so is the magical and enchanting childhood of the trillions of fans out there, so we're thinking that Harry Potter will win at the box office hands down this year. On the other hand, 2011 will be a whole other story as both Breaking Down and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II will appear. In the meantime, have a wicked year and be sure to check us out later on as we'll keep you updated with news, trailers and reviews! See ya!
