Shutter Island is a psychological thriller that has all the odds in favor of another major success for the Martin Scorsese / Leonardo DiCaprio team, as Scorsese directs the movie and DiCaprio stars as the main lead.
Leo plays a policeman that has to investigate the case of a missing person, who also happened to kill his wife, from an isolated mental institution for insane criminals. Situated on a remote island the whole scenario turns for the worst when a hurricane strikes and everyone is left stranded. Including the murderers.
