iTunes reaches the 10 Billion threshold

Yes, you read it right 10 Billion, that's 10 and nine zeros songs sold in 7 years of existence. Born on April, 2003, the iTunes Music Store has promoted legal downloading, being the advocate for all kinds of music genres, and artists. With such an occasion an “All-Time Top Songs” was made. From the beginning Steve Jobs stated that iTunes is aiming to compete with illegal downloading: “We’re going to fight illegal downloading by competing with it “, and so it did, 25 million songs being sold only in its first year of existence. After that, the curve went up, up...skyrocket, iTunes becoming America's no. 1 music vendor.
